Introduction

In my childhood I was a witness to the bustling water life on the Danube. The waves of the river were ploughed by the beautiful wooden ships.
I was driven by the love of water, ship and wood, so as an adult I bougth a neglected wooden motorboat as old as myself, which was made by one of the great boat builders of the time.
The restoration took a long time, but I got to know many experts, who have the same passion toward the wooden ships that I have. By the time the small boat was ready, a decision was made: we would continue to work together, in our own ship building company! There will again be a wooden ship factury in Hungary! We mix the traditions with modern technology and materials. Our first boat was made in our own garage, with our own design. This prototype was tested on all kinds of water, even on the sea. All our expectations were fulfilled.
The production began!
The structure of the boat is made with the traditional methods used since the ancient times. We put each rib, board fence and other structural elements with engineering accurancy, manually into its place. Since our goal is not mass production, we attach great importance to the uniqueness of each of our boats. Beside the manufactural methods, we work with the most modern material. The lacquers, synthetic resins, glues and special binding elements guarantee long lifetime, reliability, and not at last lasting value. Our ships have had big success on national and international presentations. As the result of the Dusseldorf Boat-show our company was also invited as a guest to the Venice Boat Show. Sailing over the lagoons we received appreciating comments and applauses from the viewers on the Rialto-bridge. All the experts and amateurs are enchanted by the beauty of our boats even on the mainland, but the greatest success is met, when those, who are interested, try it on the water. To sit into this wooden boat, rocking along the waves, or racing along the water, is a special feeling and a life sensation. To try it is to love it. With our first impulse, we turned to the rivers and seas, and produced motor boats. But our times demand us to take care of our environment, so we widened our boat family with the production of electric motorboats. We build different sizes and models in our standard line, and we can also custom at the special wishes for our customer, executive models from 5 to 10 meters. The motors we build are guaranteed service around the world, the preferred types are Volvo and Mercruiser. As owners of Classic Ship Ltd., we know that those, who sail our boats will discover and enjoy the water's joy and beauty, as well as the the pleasure and pride that comes with owning one of our custom made boats. It's only and solely theirs after all!
